Treatment of Tuberculosis is daily and negligence of this can cause something serious. If treatment is not followed, TB can come back or the bacteria can become the drug resistant and this can be a serious problem.

WHO (world health organization) recommends Directly Observed Treatment Short course (DOTS) strategy that emphasizes the use of the most effective standardized, short-course regimens, and of fixed-dose drug combinations (FDCs) under observation to facilitate adherence to treatment and to reduce the risk of the development of drug resistance.
