As we all know that in India 4G has been approved to telecom companies and couple of big telecom star of the country were working to launch 4G services in Indian market and finally it is Airtel who launched the service taking the initial advantage. The second 4G provider company Reliance is suppose to launch by the end of this year.

I hate waiting..do you too?

I am sure many of us have this issue. In a survey it has been found that majority of Internet user in India complains about the network and the speed of internet which means still the larger percentage of internet subscribers are not happy with the services that telecom company provides.

I remember the time when I had to download the IRCTC app to book an instant ticket to my home and despite of having 3G, it failed to download couple of times and also in third time it took more than 7-8 minutes to download.

7-8 minutes is quite long time especially if you're downloading IRCTC app and has to reserve ticket as just due to few seconds you may loose seats and the same happens to me. I was quite frustrated. And so finally decided to go with Airtel 4G and the result is awesome.

How to Get an Airtel SIM Free

1. Open you Twitter account and Tweet that you need an Airtel 4G SIM with the hashtag #GetAirtel4G. Mention that you need a Free Airtel 4G SIM home delivery.

2. Once you will tweet, you will receive a tweet back from @airtelindia where a link will be mentioned.

3. You will have to fill the form through the link mentioned in the tweet from Airtel India. Now sit back and in 4 hours, they will send your SIM at your home.

For more details you may check how to get a Free Airtel 4G SIM card here.

Speed test of Airtel 4G

I have tried Airtel 4G dongle also and the speed that I received was somewhere around 12 MBPS. Yes you heard it right 12 MBPS. You can check the below to see the speed test of it.

How You can check the Airtel 4G Speed?

Ok..so you want to experience the speed of Airtel 4G network? it is quite easy to do that. In fact Airtel is the first telecom company to provide these facilities through Twitter responses. Just follow the below steps and you will get instant speed test result on your Twitter profile.

to check the speed, Tweet the app name for which you want to know the speed it will take with the twitter handle @airtelindia #Airtel4GSpeedTest and instantly Airtel will send you an Infographic stating the speed it will take to download the app in all the network like 2G, 3G and 4G.

I did it for Facebook app and see the response I got below-

Conclusion

Speed of AIrtel 4G network is quite amazing and effective. Needless to say about the network of Airtel as they are the number one in network and now teh speed is also awesome with the help of 4G.

So why don't you test the speed of Airtel 4G? Just Tweet your App Name with @airtelindia #Airtel4GSpeedTest and see the speed details.

Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+ Review

In today’s era due to certain circumstances, chances of getting serious diseases are more. But still people don’t take proper precautions for it. According to a survey done in January’15 by Times of India, over 70% of people in India are not having any kind of insurance which is really a thing to worry. People in India spend lot of money when they suffer from any disease or illness but if you will ask them to take insurance in advance which will take care of almost all their needs, you will hear some amazing responses. There are multiple reasons behind this and I am going to list few of those below-

  • No proper education and awareness
  • People don’t understand how they will get benefited with the health insurances and many more.
  • System is still very much complicated.
  • Things are changing now and Government is also working towards the same. Lots of new policies have been launched through which public can get assured of their health.

Today I am going to tell you about an intelligent and very much beneficial life insurance that is Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+.

Here are some major functions about the Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+.

Pros of Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+

• Insurance of much critical illnesses: This is the best thing that I like about Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+. You are covered for almost all the major illness.

• Easy to buy: Yes, you can buy this policy very easily online.

• Great assured at less premium: Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+ provides the wide ranges of assured insurance which varies from 5 Lacs to 1 crore. Also, the premium is very less and just starts at 2000 INR.

• High low entry age: Like the insurance sum, they are also very much flexible for the age. The entry starts at 18 and can vary up to 65 years. So a person between 18 and 65 can enroll for the insurance.

• Tax Redemption: This is another good benefit of having insurance. If you are paying income tax then you will get am exemption in taxes as well.

• Company also provides no claim discounts which makes it different from other health insurance providers.

How Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+ is different from others?

There are multiple things which keep Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+ ahead from many other life insurance companies. I am going to list few of those below-

• The multi claim benefit that Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+ is providing is unique and very beneficial.

• The terms & conditions and other legal stuffs are clearly available online.

• The premium rate is far less than the other insurance companies.

• Multi Claim option allows claims from different groups

Conclusion

I found Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+ a reliable and very helpful insurance that you can relay. The only issue that I found with this insurance is the term age. This insurance provide a policy for 30 years and so if a person takes this insurance at 20 then it will over at 50 and so in the old age the insured person won’t be able to avail the benefits.

Rest all is great with Edelweiss Tokio Life-CritiCare+ insurance policy. If you're looking for the health insurance (i am sure you will be. If not please do so) then Tokio Life-CritiCare+ can be one of the best solution and you must go for it.

Treatment And Drugs Of Tuberculosis

 Treatment And Drugs Of Tuberculosis

                                Treatment And Drugs Of Tuberculosis

Medicational treatment is the best treatment of Tuberculosis disease. But the treatment of TB takes much more time than any other type of bacterial diseases.
If someone is having Tuberculosis then he/she must have to take antibiotics for 6 to 9 months.but that the exact drugs and the length of the treatment depends upon the age, overall health, drugs resistance,Tuberculosis form whether it is active or passive in nature, and location of infection in body of the patience.
According to some recent research, it is proved that a shorter term treatment of four months instead of nine may be work effective in keeping latent TB from becoming active TB.In a shorter course, TB treatment patients have to take care more effectively and he/she have to take all their medication and also there is a lesser risk of side effects.further research work and studies are also going on.

Most Common Tuberculosis Drugs

If someone is having latent Tuberculosis then he/she need to take just one type of TB drug.but active Tuberculosisparticularly if it’s a drug resistance strain, then it will require several drugs at a time.
The most common medication that are used to treat Tuberculosis is listed below.

  •     Pyrazinamide
  •     Ethambutol
  •     Rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane)
  •     Isoniazid

If you have a drugs resistance TB, then you need a combination of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones and injectable medications, such as amikacin, kanamycin or capreomycin, these are generally used for 20 to 30 months. There is also some type of TB which are developing resistance to these medications as well.

New drugs are also come into existence like:
  •    Sutezolid
  •    Linezolid
  •    PA-824
  •    Delamanid
  •    Bedaquiline

Side Effects Of The Medicational Treatment

It is noted that a serious side effects of TB does not come into existence, but it might come into existence. And may be dangerous for the patients. While taking these medications if you find any problem then immediately call the doctor as these medicational treatment are toxic for the liver. If you find any give below symptoms then call a doctor immediately.

  •       High fever which persists for three to four days
  •       If your urine is dark
  •       If you have any symptoms of jaundice like yellowing color  of the skin
  •       Severe loss of appetite

Completion Of The TB Treatment Is Necessary

If you are going through a TB treatment then don’t leave the medication in midway if you start feeling better rather you have to complete the full medication. So don’t stop taking the TB drugs. As it a bacterial disease so stopping the TB drugs before the full medication allows the bacteria that are still alive to become persistence to those drugs, leading to TB that is much more difficult to treat.A program directly observed treatment therapy ( DOTS ) may recommend to help the people in TB medications. So follow all the above steps that are mentioned in order to remove the TB from a root level.

TB in India | Its Treatment |Tb Care | Tb Facts | RNTCP

Tuberculosis or TB in short is a very popular disease in all over the world and in India as well.Stats says that India has the highest burden of TB in the world and about 2-million TB cases has been estimated annually in India which is one-fifth of the world TB patients. So can make an assumption that how dangerous and famous disease it is in India. It is also proved that about 40% of the total population of India is infected from Tuberculosis bacteria.According to the WHO( World Health Organization ) 300,000 people die from TB each year in India.so you can make a count that how much this disease is making a deep impact on the Indian population.

The Revised National TB Control Program In India also known as RNTCP

The Revised National TB control Program was started by the Indian government in the year 1997 and it is expanded throughout the country in 2006.The main aim of this program is to use the WHO (World Health Organization) recommendation Direct Observed Treatment Short Course (DOTS ) and it soon reaches almost 632 districts/reporting units of India.
The main objective of the RNTCP in India were:

1     1.)  To help the patience and at least maintain a TB treatment rate of 85% among new sputum positive (NSP) patience.

2.) To detect at least 70% of the new sputum positive(NSP) in India.
Now a very important question coming in your mind is that what is new sputum positive patients??.Don’t worry I am explaining it. NSP patients are one who did not receive any TB treatment yet to he/she has received the treatment for not more than 1 month.

TB care in India is provided not only in a public sector but it is also provided in a non-public sector.They are treated under the programs like RNTCP where the main aim of the program is to provide treatment to new sputum positive(NSP) patience so that the newly infected person can be saved.

TB Drug Policy In India:

In India, more than 1.6 million people are taking free drugs at more than 15,000 Indian government centers so that India can be made free from TB.In 2013, it was reported that some of the TB drugs center of India are not having drugs and,  as  a result, a mass number of children were deprived of TB drugs. It was seen that a mass number people come out of their homes and making a campaign against the Indian government.Lastly, the Indian government has to bow down and provide them the required drugs from outside the country.

How to Read TB Skin Test

In the earlier article we have already read about what is TB Skin Test and what to do in such circumstances. In this article I am going to show you how to read the TB Skin Test. This will help you to have an idea to read the test report of TB Skin Test. But be careful and trust only on the doctor where you’ve done the test and do as per the suggestion given to you by the doctor.

What is the Method to Read TB Skin Test?

Here reading a TB Skin test means inspecting the thickened area of the skin reaction. This small local area is termed as Induration. Remember Induration is the key to detect and not the red area that comes over there or the brushing.

Must Read: What is TB and it's Preventive System

Also Skin test should be read somewhere between 2-3 days (48-72 hours) after the injection was done at the doctor’s clinics. At this time this area, termed as Induration is maximum.

Test read after 72 hours may lead to inaccurate results and will tend to incorrect estimation of the size of the Induration. So it is always suggestible to avoid such occurrences.

How TB Skin Tests are interpreted:

As we discussed above, the basis of reading the TB Skin test is the presence or absence of Induration. The diameter of Induration should be measure correctly. It should be measured perpendicularly to the long axis of the forearm. This should be measured in millimeter. You can estimate the criticality of this measurement by its unit itself.

Must Read: What are the Treatment of TB

A tuberculin reaction can be divided as Positive or Negative. This is been considered as a healthy person has Induration greater than 15 mm.

For normal people an Induration greater than or equal to 15 mm is considered as positive. But this 15 mm is not fixed for the entire group of people and in all the cases. For example-

• An Induration of 5 mm is considered as positive for HV infected people.
• Induration of 10 mm is considered as positive for children less than 4 years.

So proper care should be taken care of while reading TB Skin Test.

Also a Negative TB Skin test result doesn’t guarantee that person is free of Tuberculosis. So take the suggestion of the good doctor.

The below flow diagram is depicting the two step Tuberculin Skin Testing.
